Wow! Can it really be December already? It seems like only a few days ago we were welcoming our first freshman class, but here they are, almost done with their second Fall Session already… time, as they say, is really flying! We’ve had a lot of really great events recently that I’ve neglected to talk about – although you might have seen our Halloween pics up on Facebook, or our Rally pics announced on Twitter (are you following us yet?) – but I’d love to take a brief moment to catch you up (officially) right here. The NAU – Yavapai Halloween party was a lot of fun! We ordered pizzas and socialized in our costumes over sodas and cookies, before heading off to the movies for a spooky night. Everyone looked great! Next on our agenda was our first Fall Open House, and while I don’t have pictures from that event, I will tell you that we had quite the happy group touring our beautiful campus. (And, of course, we had cookies!) Then there was a whirlwind of planning and juggling to be done as we prepared for our first ever NAU-Yavapai Rally to support the NAU Lumberjacks as they took on the Alabama State Hornets. Wow! Talk about a fun time! We had hot dogs and hot chocolate to help combat the cool Autumn weather, a pinata, relay races, and a seriously awesome DJ.
